The presentation of the book Dowlet gusy by the President of Turkmenistan in the Chinese language took place the Fangfei Conference Room of the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse in Beijing.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China in Turkmenistan Xiao Qinghua, Vice-Chairperson of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference Su Rong, Vice Foreign Minister Cheng Guoping, Vice President of China National Petroleum Company Guoliang Wang and the representatives of government agencies of the People’s Republic of China participated in the solemn ceremony that was timed to the state visit of the leader of Turkmenistan to China. The Turkmen side was represented by the Vice Premiers, the heads of ministries and departments of the country, the members of the government delegation of Turkmenistan and Turkmen students who study at universities in China.
The ceremony participants visited a book exhibition before the ceremony. The exposition included the books, monographs and multivolume works created by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. These include Turkmen Dastarhan, Medicinal Plants of Turkmenistan, Ahalteke Horses – Our Pride and Glory, To New Heights of Progress, The Living Legend and Turkmenistan is the Land of Healing, among others.
An exhibition of jewellery pieces created by Turkmen craftsmen was arranged there. Horse harness and various jewellery pieces for Ahalteke horses made of gold and silver aroused particular interest. The national Turkmen costumes with exquisite handmade embroideries adorned the exhibition.
Those speaking at the ceremony noted that the publication of the book by the President of Turkmenistan in the Chinese language was a shining symbol of successful traditionally friendly relations between the two states and nations. Vice-Chairperson of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference Su Rong emphasized that the scientific breadth and deep philosophy of the books by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov aroused admiration in China.
Cultural and art workers of Turkmenistan performed a concert in the framework of the presentation.
